Randolph Waite

High School Principal/Math Instructor

Randolph Waite has worked for Lake County schools for the past eleven years with prior experience in the Orange County school system for three years. He enjoyed eight years in the classroom as a math teacher at South Lake High School and has been an administrator on every level of education. He started his administrative career as instructional Dean at Oak Park Middle School in Leesburg, Florida and in June 2014, he transitioned and was appointed as Assistant Principal at Umatilla Elementary in Umatilla, Florida. In August of 2015 Randolph was promoted again and accepted the position as Assistant Principal at South Lake High School. In 2018, Randolph became a part of the private school sector and joined the Hope Preparatory Academy team as High School Principal.

Randolph Waite’s passion is to help all students achieve their post-secondary goals and build positive relationships with all stakeholders. He also believes in providing opportunities that will empower all teachers. With the focus of providing a quality education for all students, he is excited to join the Hope Preparatory Academy family, as this is his second year with the team!
